how come i cannot find a job?

Hey my names cam and im having trouble finding a job, im 19 years old and just graduated from high school. I just enrolled at Lansing College for the fall. I have a car and a very open schedule. Ive been responding to every listing available that im qualified for on craigslist.com and im visited a very good temporary agency called Kelly Services. I have also turned in applications religiously to all the local fastfood and retail stores.. I have a resume and a decent list of references that ive been handing out. Im running outa plays here and if i dont get employment by august 18 im gonna lose my car, and then college. Can someone give me some advice or if they were in a situation like mine, howd u get out of it?

1. do you have a really random talent? Because my brother is 20 years old, he looked EVERYWHERE for a job and when he couldn't get one, he started street performing. He plays guitar and sings in the Boston area and makes 10-20 dollars an hour!!! So although it is not a full time job (he only works for a few hours every night) it's enough to make ends meet when he does babysitting during the day. good luck!
2. Call Kelly Services at 8:00 am several days a week and let them know that you are ready to work. Apply at a 2nd temp agency and do the same until you get work. Good luck
