How to sell furniture in New York City?

I am moving to another country. I want to sell my furniture before I leave. I have already posted ads on Craigslist. Do you have ideas of other ways I could use to sell my furniture? (Mostly, IKEA items)

Also, put up a sign * at the street corner * laundromat * dry cleaners * supermarket, etc. Please ask before doing any of the above so that way, you are not charged with dumping/littering. Also, avoid the MTA at all cost.
