Did Republicans know we would have so many government jobs when they lowered tariffs?

Like Duh. Old people gave away our industrial might starting with Republcian Reagan lowering tariffs back when Wal-Mart had their made in the USA slogan and now they are complaining about all the government jobs and less private jobs. Silly old people with their dated ways and old fears.

1. Old people? Well needle dick old people run the world get used to it.
2. the problem with free trade (and Ross Perot, a very successful, honest businessman noticed this) is that you always face being swamped out by nations where the cost of business is cheaper, thus either lowering your standard of living, or facing economic dominance by a foreign power (like the way China currently is with us)
3. ...when you get to high school, I suggest paying extra attention in economics...try to get past your prejudice against the old teacher...it'll do you a world of good...
