Does the Akron metropolitan housing authority allow small pets?

I'm trying to look into public housing for me and my fiance, but we have two small dogs and I'm not sure if they'll accept us if we have them or if they're allowed in any apartment/home they put us in. Does anyone know?

1. The projects will not take animals. If you have a section 8 voucher it is up to the landlord, the HA does not interfere. The odds are not good.
