I am considering moving in to Foxchase apartments in Alexandria, VA. Is it as bad as the reviews say?
I have read terrible reviews about Foxchase apartments in Alexandria, VA. When I went to see them, they didn't seem too bad, but the area around it seems a little unsafe, and I would be in a ground level unit. I asked a couple of people that I saw lived there what they thought, and they had no major complaints. Not sure what I should believe, and I need to make a decision quickly...any help would be very much appreciated!!

- Typically, the only people that write reviews on those websites are people who have had a problem. I worked and lived at one of the best apartment complexes in Gaithersburg, MD. I knew what it was like to live there and I knew how much mostly everyone enjoyed it. That didn't stop the 4 or 5 people a year from posting negative things on certain review sites. Don't believe the reviews. If you feel you'd like it, then do it! It's only a year lease and it if its not what you were hoping for, then move at the end of the year.
- Do this: drive around the apartments at 11PM and again at 2:30 AM (or whenever the bars let out) on a friday or a saturday. You'll see the worst case scenario and you'll know if you can handle it. Good luck.
