Walmart employment policy?

Hi I have a question a friend of mine works at walmart and I wanted to know if it's against the law for the walmart employer to change my friends schedule without notice. The state is Indiana.

2. It is not against the law. When you say without notice, does that mean your friend typically works the same days/hours and this week it is different? That happens in retail. No store I ever worked for would ever guarantee any employee the same shifts every single week. They would change the schedule to fit their business needs. Or that the schedule was posted and your friend had an opportunity to note her shifts and then it was changed without notice, causing her to be late/early/miss a shift? That is just bad management if that happened. Either way, nothing illegal about it.
