Are there realtors that can help you find an apartment/house if you just want to lease?

My boyfriend and I are looking for a place in a couple months, but he has a large dog which makes it almost impossible to find a place that will work... I've been serching craigslist non-stop. Any general information would be great about how I might be able to find someone to work with. (I'm looking in San Diego's North County Area specifically, so if you happen to know of someone I would gladly accept referrals too.) Thanks so much!!!

1. ALMOST ALL REALTORS HAVE ACCESS TO PLACES FOR RENT AND LEASE THRU THE MLS SERVICE, CALL ANY REALTOR IN YOUR TOWN
2. Most realtors do but I doubt you will find anything to rent with a large dog.
3. call Realtors...they sure are not SELLING anything in these days...my friend on the east coast contacted a Realtor and got a wonderful deal ...a co-op apartment the owner was happy to get a responsible person...she has a lovely apt..and owner has not raised rent in3 years.
