Am I exempt from the do not call list if I want to buy something from someone?

I have a bunch of consumers I want to call to see if they have an antique I am looking for. I want to actually purchase what the have. I am not selling a service or anything else for that matter. I just want to see if they would be willing to sell. For Example: I buy and trade vintage cars and trucks. I see that someone owns an old car, I have their phone number and I want to see if I can buy it from them.
