If R&P were a club and you were the deejay, what song(s) would you play for the patrons?
Don't worry AtS, I'm sure they all know you love them :) I would play some Hendrix for you over a pint, and get you to talk as much as possible so I could hear your cool Welsh accent (although I probably wouldn't be able to understand 90% of what you say) :) You're very welcome! :)

- How unfair, as I am sure to miss out so many great posters/contacts. However, to answer your question totally off the top of my head with just three, and with mega apologies to ALL.......... Please forgive me- after all, I am an old man. Edit- Diolch yn fawr :) Google it xx
- I think that most of R&P wouldn't like my selections because there wouldn't be any new Pop. Most of my plays would be blues, blues-rock, rock, or metal between 1963 and 2010.

- I would prefer to be a call up deejay, and then play what ever they wanted, whether it be rock/pop/metal/country/folk or what ever there wish would be. For me just to play the music it would be all one-sided to my favorites, and that would not be fair to others, on here who have a much better taste in music, and would make better deejays than I. I'll learn more from them than they will from me. As in your question I'm learning all ready. take care dave
- Um, I'd be fired as deejay because I would only play what I wanted and not what others wanted to hear! I would start with: The Who "Young Man Blues,""Water" "Shakin' All Over" and "Naked Eye" total jams!!! followed by Duffy "Well Well Well" Jimi Hendrix "Voodoo Child" Patti Smith 'Gloria" Stevie Ray Vaughan "Texas Flood" Johnny Winter "Mean Town Blues" Dave Matthews Band "Crush" Beastie Boys "Sabotage" Dixie Chicks "Travelin' Soldier" Allman Brothers"Whipping Post" Bob Dylan "Leopard Skin Pill Box Hat" Fleetwood Mac "Gold Dust Woman" See what I mean? LOL The Doors Guns N Roses Johnny Cash
- David V- "Time Is On My Side" The Rolling Stones http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VxPTRgaXot0 Mick- "Ziggy Stardust" David Bowie http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XXq5VvYAI1Q Kelly Wholigan- "Slip Kid" The Who http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a4xjr9v5ehk Stella Blue- "If I Had The World To Give" The Grateful Dead http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KNKlpmtWI1s vtd288- "White Light/White Heat" Lou Reed http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zpxMr6J3UHM
- Keeping in mind the immortal words of Shadow Henderson, I would play the songs people like. So it would be all request hour with DJ Bluntmaster K at the helm.
- Aw, Biner. Thanks for thinking of me darlin. I've never heard any Grateful Dead EVER played out in a club. I am definately visiting yours!
