Does the Governor have power over the local housing authority?
If a local housing authority does something illegal, does the Governor have to take action to correct the problems or file charges against the authority?

- No. Housing is an independent department. The gov would have to sue
- in any municipality, the major, governor, pres, they are the CEO, chief executive. they direct the applicable inspectors and police units, to investigate and the muni atty will take punitive steps if deemed appropriate there are torts and crimes; he will have his people decide which, if any, has been commited.
