Best apartment complexes in Las Vegas?
I am moving to Las Vegas for work and will be traveling, so location isn't important. I heard northwest is nice and easy to avoid traffic. I also heard Henderson is nice. Location isn't that big of an issue for me. I am more concerned about safety, nice area, clean and well maintained property, and modern apartments. I am looking to spend around $700 for a 1 bedroom, but am willing to spend a little more if it is worth it. I have done some searching online, but keep looking up apartment complexes on Apartment ratings and am finding terrible reviews. My question is- I need NAMES of APARTMENT COMPLEXES that meet my needs so I can schedule some appointments. Thanks a bunch!

- Henderson is really nice. One of my friends lives there and she's perfectly content. The Strip is only ten or twenty minutes. There isn't that much traffic, except rush hour. Traverse Point Condominiums is a gated community but unfortunately, not gaurd proteced, in Henderson that has a Homeowner's Association but it's incredibly affordable. I think rent goes around for 6 or 700. These are farily new, built around 2002, 03. You'd get all the kitchen appliances, including a washer and dryer inside the unit. Depending on which unit you get, some of them have small balconies/patios. Others have a big built in desk suitable for a work station. They all have pretty much the same floor plan, it's all open but some bathrooms and kitchens may be bigger than others. There is a clubhouse and a pool. The gym is inside. The mailboxes are right next door. However, you must have your license tag on your license plate updated, or else expect to get your car towed at your expense. There is assigned parking, plus open parking. There are small walkways surrounding the complex so you can get in plenty of exercise. They do allow small dogs and I think you're only allowed to have two, not sure. If you can make time to get to Las Vegas and check out a few places in person, that would be ideal. It's always a good idea to look at a place in person before making any decisions. Summerlin and Seven Hills are also decent places, I've heard. Be aware that most of these places may have a Homeowner's Associations, so you'll have to abide by their rules and pay the monthly HOA fee. Other complexes of interest: Stephanie Court, Crystal Creek Apartments, Timberlake Apts, Adobe Ranch, Montego Bay Apartments. http://www.montegobayvegas.com/ http://www.liveatalliance.com/adoberanch/index.aspx http://www.timberlakeapts.com/ http://www.crystalcreekapts.com/ Good luck in your search!!
- You should look ONLY in Henderson, Green Valley or Summerlin (I prefer Summerlin) If you go any where near the strip it gets pretty scary unless you have $$$ I used to live in a place called Camden Del Mar it was pretty reasonable and they have HUGE bathtubs I miss it! Also right now for about what you want to pay you could get a townhouse or a condo that would be a lot nicer than an apartment. I am sure you will find something nice! Good Luck and welcome to Las Vegas!!!!
