Where in Los Angeles can I rent a pick-up truck for just a few hours?

I found a great couch on Craigslist and planned to pick it up this Wednesday. Problem is, I don't have any friends with trucks to help me out. I thought I'd just rent a pick-up truck by the hour, but U-Haul and the like close around 5pm and I would be able to drop it off until maybe 9pm. Paying for 2 days makes the whole thing not even worth it, same issue with regular car rental places. And from what I can tell, Home Depot only rents out trucks to transport items you actually purchased there. Grrr. Any advice?

1. With U-Haul you normally can drop trucks off after hours. Just give them a call and ask the worse they can tell you is no.
2. Home Depot closes at 9 PM, but you can rent a truck from their provided you get it back before the store closes. My home depot truck costs $20.00 a hour plus gas.
