I am going there in April and I'd like to buy one. I've seen Craigslist but I would like something like a shop. I am looking for something like a 50D with a lens or two.

I see that you're a fond camera user like my father. Well, I would rather say that cameras are very delicate type of equipment and purchasing second hand cameras over shops may not ensure you quality, and you would not even know what the product has gone through. Why not get it from a good known source that ensures all products / items sold are brand new and of good quality like an online shop, i.e. Amazon.
