I have one question i put some items on craigslist in north carolina and since i have 2 cousins one in new york and the other in los angeles can i also post the same ads that i have in north carolina or are the ads i have allready posted in n.c. go out that far across country THANK YOU GREG

  2. I believe the items that you posted are only available to be seen in the city you posted it in.

  4. they are already nation wide....world wide in fact - I have relatives overseas that acess that website all the time
  5. You only post the ads for a certain city you have selected, so for other people to see those items - you have to post them again in different cities. Make sure you have enough item for every one though, so you don't try to split one DVD between 2 people :D. (for e.x.)
  6. No, you have to post your stuff in the NY area. I would try craigslist.org/new york. If that doesnt work, Use a search engine with Craigslist New York in the search bar.
  7. The ads you put on NC are only going to show up on the NC craigslist. Anyone is welcome to post their ads on any city's craigslist however. You will just have to go to that city's craigslist and post your ad again there.
  8. I believe craigslist is done locally, so you would need to add a seperate listing for each location. it might be a good idea to list the location of the items so that readers in other locations know the items are not local.

  10. they don't go out like that...but if someone is looking for something in north carolina they will find it. you can also add to your listing that you can sell in new york and california. and yes you can list it in those places too. the only problem i see is if you are selling things usually ppl want to see them before paying and they want to pick them up...but i guess if they are willing to pay shipping you're ok.
  11. In order to get your items out there you should post it on each craigslist site.
