How can i obtain employment in the United Kingdom if I am still an American citizen?

I am an American citizen planning a move to Wales. As i am not independently wealthy, I need to figure the easiest, fastest way to obtain employment. And citizenship, for that matter!

1. There is no way. You have to have a job with the skills on a list for Immigration. You would only be able to come on a visitors visa. Same rules apply here as they do in your country.
2. In order to work in any foreign country, you first need to gain residence or a work permit before you can find employment, or even live. 3. You can't just swan over on a plane and live here. You need a visa.
