How do you apply for low income housing in MA?

I am currently working on minimum wage and cannot afford to stay in the local area. The inner city even has rates for housing I cannot afford. Im curious to find out how do I qualify and apply for low income housing?

1. just get a better job...or another part time job or two and pay your own way....
2. The applications are done by your county of residence. You go online and fill out an application. Most lists are closed or the wait is 5 yrs.
3. You will need to contact the local housing authority in your area to make an application. DO understand, however, that most housing authorities have extensive waiting lists for such assistance. Many large cities have actually closed the application process until their waiting lists become shorter. The funds allocated to 'low income housing' are limited, and applicants simply have to wait until their name reaches the top of the list.
