Where can I find affordable housing inventory for the whole US?

In either Square footage, or # of units. Not including public housing, and all that other jazz just strictly affordable. Thanks.

1. You can't. You can't even find a State by State listing.
2. Websites like forrent.com or apartmentguide.com will allow you to search by price, size & things like that but only for 1 city at a time. Those only have apartments though. You would have to look on craigslist or in local papers for any houses for rent. There is no one general list for the entire country.
