How long does it take for Section 8 Housing in West Hollywood?

I applied for Section 8 Housing in West Hollywood two years ago. Does anyone know how long the application process takes?

1. If it's a high income area, very long. Check up on it. Mite be better to apply in lower-income areas.
2. In most urban areas the waitlist is several years. Why dont you call and see where you are on the waitlist. I am in California too. At least they took your application. I dont think Los Angeles Housing is even doing that.
3. They closed the waiting list when it got to 5 years long. Expect to wait 2-3 more years
