How do I have a text sent to my phone with new website postings?

I would like to setup an RSS feed for a local Online Classifieds website: http://www.ksl.com/index.php?nid=231&cat=151&category=142 Every time a new ad is posted on this page, I would like to extract the ad title, price, and description and have them sent to my phone/email. I have already created an RSS feed with the ad titles and descriptions here: http://feed43.com/6213821466343826.xml but I don't know how to extract only the newest post and have it automatically sent to my phone/email. Please instruct me on how to do this. I am fairly computer savvy and I can usually figure stuff out if pointed in the right direction. Copy/Paste code solution, or info on how to accomplish this would be great!
