Should there be affirmative action in government jobs?

Seeing that it's almost impossible to get fired from a government job and that affirmative action decreases performance and productivity in government jobs, that should be even more of a reason to not support affirmative action for government jobs. At least with the private sector, people who can't perform get weeded out, but with the public sector people who can't perform are in there for life.

7. Affirmative action was the beginning of the downfall of the country, and the reason outsourcing became so prevalent in the nineties. Common sense is to hire the most qualified people for a job, if government forces companies to hire the most unqualified people either they move out of country or go bankrupt.
8. There has to be, if we don't give them good jobs and help with education, their children will be spitting images of them and remember - minorities breed 3 times faster than whites. We either give them jobs and education (unfair or not) or our future in the next 50 years will be overrun by minority criminals and the low-lives will outnumber the upstanding citizens. When you look at the birth rates among varying races, if we don't do something we're going to be outnumbered by uneducated criminals, something has to change this. Whites have every right to be mad - this isn't going to change our unavoidable future if we don't give them opportunities as you are a product of your environment. Probability says if you don't have good parents, you won't turn out well. We need to make better parents and that starts by giving them good jobs and the same education as everyone else, even if it's not fair. College populations are 80-90% white, that statistic is a problem. Ending affirmative action effectively screws the future of the United States. When whites become the minority and the races most infamous for crime and poverty become the majority, our economy will be ******. You have to see the future to understand, we have to realize that whites aren't always going to be the majority and prepare our economy for this take over. I'm not being racist but when you look at the statistics from minorities and poverty - this is not good.
9. Affirmative Action is past it's prime. It needs to go away everywhere. It's racist.
10. Base everything on the color of a persons skin and gender. That's Racist!
11. And people wonder why no one knows how to do their jobs correctly anymore (rolling eyes).....its needs to go away completely.

Providing someone with either a job or admission to a college based on race and not on merit is load of nonsense. Let the social engineering stop. Look at where it the country is now!
