is this legal or not?

I bought a phone off cregs list saterday and now i went to the sprint store and the people at the store said they stoped paying for there bills so i cant do anything with the phone is it legal to sell the phone back on cregslist even tho it is in sombody elses name???? can i sell it for parts

1. even though you bought it it's technically stealing and selling stolen objects so yeah its illegal
2. Just like the guy that sold it to you, you'd be committing an act of fraud.
3. Your problem began when you used cregs list... Always go with name brand stuff, the off-brands are just looking to rip you off!
