List Only

will the blackberry curve 9330 from verizon work with tmobile?

i am thinking of buying the BB Curve 9330 on craigslist but it is from Verizon. I would need to run it on the Tmobile network. Is this possible? This is the phone i am looking at - http://austin.craigslist.org/mob/2428871884.html the listing states that it does not come with a SIM card. i wonder why they would list that if it doesnt have a SIM card slot?

  1. you can request for the unlock code from verizon, and once it's unlocked, you can use another sim from any service provider ;)
  2. NO it will NOT work the problem is that verizon is a CDMA service, and t-moble is GSM, there are very few universal phones with both technologies, and this one isn't one of them. the 9330 is strictly a CDMA phone. CDMA phones don't use SIM cards either

Tower frewuency is defragged in the phone itself ATT / Tmobile = GSM network Technology (require carrier SIM card. Tower frewuency is defragged by the SIM card itself and not the phone Ergo.... you cant mix oil and water.... sorry
