i think search engines are a hoax to find jobs...they say they help but NO THEY DONT?
I don't get it you have all these search engines to help find companies that are hiring and you submit your resume and it goes where? to some freakin magical land with everyone elses resumes NEVER to be looked at and never to be contacted by anyone/or company. Why can't stupid freakin companies not go through stupid search engines - especially Indeed.com i HATE that one with a passion. Thats why its so hard to find a f***** job because you send your resume through these stupid things and it's like a waste of time because no company is ever going to see it.

- I agree. I rather have an email of the department in charge of hiring so I can send my info directly to them.
- Uuuuuummmmmm ok
- General job board search engines are rarely successful at finding jobs. The best of them, Monster.com, is frequently cited as less than 10% effective. Today jobs are won by targeting a company or companies and, after detailed research, showing them what you can do to help. There are various ways to demonstrate your suggestions and expertise, LinkedIn being important. A Job Searching Checklist is here: http://jobbingo.blogspot.com/p/job-searching-checklist.html .
