List Only

Why did ron paul vote against the federal do-not-call list? So telemarketers can harass me 20 times daily?

ron said he wants govt to leave him alone, but he doesn't have a problem with corporations calling my house 20 times a day with recorded advertising, so he voted against the do-not-call list.

  1. Well... he's a libertarian. Because such a program requires a government office... and more government employees to operate it... he has to be against it on principle.
  2. Because he votes against practically EVERYTHING that's not in the Constitution. That's why I like him :)
  3. I love the do not call list. But lets think this through...how constitutional is it to make a law that says a business cannot call you? I am willing to take the good with the bad if it means we can get back to following the constitution.
  4. Yep,m good old hypocrite Ron Paul. He's the biggest suck up to corporations of all those clowns.Well, maybe Bachmann ties with him.
  5. Because cold-calling people is effective. Notice that the government exempted itself from that list... it is not required to be on it. Government wants to make sure you hear their robo-calls.
  6. He's against everything, including the civil rights act. He thinks corporations have the right to do anything. He thinks states should be able to force religion on people. Don't let his drug war stance fool you into thinking he's sane. He's a neo-Confederate, not a libertarian.
