  1. No, you are not eligible for any handouts, you are an adult, you pay your own way. You need to find a place to go, nothing will find you,.
  2. You aren't going to qualify for housing assistance as a single able-bodied adult. You'll have to work more hours or get a second job if you cannot afford housing on your own (or look for a roommate or two). You may qualify for food stamps, depending on your state's income limits. In my state, if you're working full-time at minimum wage with no dependents, you wouldn't qualify, but some states have a higher income limit (due to the higher cost of living). You can visit the website to find out the income limits. If you cannot find a roommate or housing that you can afford in the next three weeks, you can look into weekly rates at a cheap motel. There's a good chance that the local women's shelter wouldn't have room for you anyway... so your options are going to be to find a place quickly, or sleep on the street. Good luck to you, but you need to apply like crazy for another job or find a roommate.
  3. You might qualify for foodstamps but there are no housing options available. Those waiting lists are YEARS long and the elderly or single mothers go first. It sounds like you need to get a 2nd job and find a roommate.
