Can addition rooms pass section 8 housing inspection?

I there is a garage covered room, but the room is not rented to the section 8 renter. Can this garage room pass section 8 housing inspection? Thanks

1. It has to be permitted. The renter rents the entire house, they can not rent part,
2. You want to rent a room addition to your home to a Section 8 tenant? As long as you have the CO and the building passes inspection with the city, it should pass Section 8 inspection.
