Why do i still get phone calls when i am registered in the do not call list?

I don't understand why i do still get those pesty phone calls from telemarketing even thought i have registered my phone number in the do not call list!!!! i have tried to registered once again and it didn't let me do it !!!! so annoying !!! sick & tired of those calls, thank god i can block some of them (20 allows me my phone) do you get those phone calls beside being on the do not call list?

1. That's a very, very good question and I wish I had the answer. This "do-not-call-list" is probably one way they can get around some law.
2. Do Not Call list is a joke.!! I have been on it for over 3 years...Still get same calls. They just call with a anonymous or private readout, or change their number. (Spoofing.)
3. When I got on the DNC list, it cut unwanted calls by about 95%. However, certain organizations are still allowed to call, charities, I think, under certain conditions. Anytime a company calls you with an unwanted solicitation, report them! 4. sighs... you really believe machines are going to listen to your requests? that information has to be manually inputted and it's not going to happen dearest.
5. i didnt even know there was a do not call list. but thats me, daydreamer!!
