A pawn shop wont give me anything for it, anyone know any other places in the Seattle area that would buy it? I already posted it on craigslist.

- E-bay
- that sucks
- go on streets
- maybe Seattle classifieds? I've never been there...sorry.
- if the guy was a jerk,, do what I did,, my ring was worth 4,000.00 the police had to drag him out of my house because he was abusive,,, I took his 4000.00 ring to a pawn shop and sold it for 5 cents, and mailed him the reciept. we haven't spoken since lol
- I would try E-Bay and I would put a reserve on it or a starting bid in the price range you are looking to get for it. Craigslist might get you some lookers as well. Normall pawn shops don't buy jewlery because of the items possibly being fake.
- What kind of ring do you have? If it is a plain gold band, it is not worth that much, regardless of where you sell it. Basically, it is only worth the price of the gold (and only the wholesaler's price at that). Of course, if the ring is something really special, that's a different matter. If it is set with precious stones, or if it is an antique, it will have value as jewelry rather than just as metal. But since you didn't mention anything, I assume you do not have a ring like that. If you still want to sell the ring, go to a jeweler that specializes in high-end, custom made jewelry. These will not be big stores that advertise on radio and TV. You are looking for small, specialty stores. They may pay you for the gold, which they will melt down and make into new jewelry. I got several hits by plugging "custom jewelry seattle" into the Google search engine, so you might want to start with that. I know you were hoping for a different answer, but unfortunately there is little market for an ordinary used wedding ring. Good luck!!
