Should i buy this bike or is it stolen.?
So I am thinking of buying a used bmx bike and the owner claims it is from fit, he bought it from a little bike shop in California, it came with no serial numbers, the stickers are original but the only one that the pictures show a close up of is a little bit peeled(maybe taken off of another bike), The color is obviously professionally done and all matches, here is the link http://www.ksl.com/index.php?nid=218&ad=17686396&cat=408&lpid=2&search=fit If the link doesnt work go to ksl.com click classifieds, outdoors and sporting, bicycles;bmx, and search fit, its on page three and is light green. Tell me what to look for and what you think

- The bike looks like a piece of crap. That all by itself would make me walk away. Since he mentioned that he bought the bike from a shop in California, get the name of the shop and call them. If he "forgets" what the name of the shop is then I would stay away from it anyway. Actually, from the looks of the bike it seems to be a Diamondback- maybe a Session- and not a Fit.
- $300 for a bmx toy? i wouldn;t go there not sure the color is 'professional' why is it flat and not glossy or metallic? wle
- It might be but sometimes there are bikes that have been made without the S/No on it like I think there was on 70's or older Schwinn bike that for some reason didn't have it stamped on it because of a factory stamper mistake, if you bring a friend to look at it and if it doesn't look like it was scratched off then it might be legit. Definitely a Fit Bike. http://www.bmx-forum.com/threads/153644-Green-Check
