how much money can you make and still be eligible for section 8 housing?

I need too know the exact income a house hold of 3 can make and still receive section 8 housing in Utah.

1. A lot more than we currently make. Yet we pay my own way rather than expecting others to.
2. It varies by exact location. It is based on median income. If the household of 3 is 2 adults and 1 child they will earn too much. Both parents have to work at least 35 hours a week. If it is 1 parent and 2 children it is based on the parents income plus the child support. It is possible that the income will be low enough to meet the requirements.
3. It depends on what your county Housing Authority limits are. I dont know if that information is on their website but you can look up your county Housing Authority.
