Why are employment agencies in the US still in business?

Are employment agencies really still doing business when millions of people are out of work and other businesses are not hiring or is it a false? Why is it no news or statistics about employment agencies going out of business?

1. they still place people I am not sure who told you there are no jobs, there are a lot of jobs and a lot of people looking for job and a lot of people getting jobs. Employment agencies still help employers and candidates find each other every day!
2. They are just hoping to stay around long enuf for the economy to improve. Most of them could close today since there are so few jobs; employers have less need for an agency when they can get 100 applications for any job.
