What ever happened to the Do Not Call List?
I put my name on the Do Not Call List some time ago, but I'm constantly getting recorded calls from "toll-free" and "out of area" numbers. These calls start at 8:00 in the morning every day and it's annoying since the calls continue throughout every day. Does the Do Not Call list even exist anymore?

- It still exists but like most government operations its failing to solve the problem. They receive over 1 million complaints a year and the prosecute about ten 10 a year. most call I receive are from out of the country, and calling me from a unused number that cannot be traced back, if you call it back you just get a recording "not a good number" I traced one down for about a week, filing complaints with my cell company, do not call registry, and several other agency's, It finally came back to my HOME ALARM COMPANY that wanted to give me a free alarm system. They said they would make sure it stopped, I turned them in to the do not call registry and dropped them.
