  1. Hmm, I wonder what the person with the Jeep is talking about when he says it needs 'TLC'. If you have the Jeep checked out and it needs only minor work then I'd go for it. Is that your van? It looks nice.
  2. Keep the van. "Needs TLC" and "high mileage" makes me nervous as does the fact that it's a Jeep. The 4.0L is a pretty strong engine but the transmission is problem-prone. Overall reliability for the Jeep is substandard.
  3. Keep the van. My nephew was hit head on by a jeep vehicle that lost it on wet roads. The driver of the jeep died at the scene. My nephew was seriously hurt, but lived. He was driving a Ford pick up. The jeep products were originally made for military off road use and do not have all the protection for the occupants that they should for me to recommend ""anyone"" to get one.
  4. your van looks nice for that price, the way the guy worded his description of the jeep would scare me away unless your mechanically inclined and he really didn't say how many miles were on it except it was high mileage and needed TLC, I'd have to check it out just for curosity sake but It doesn't enthuse me as they are real gas hogs and gas being $4.00 a gal. soon would be another reason to forget it.
