Best website to buy a used bicycle (New York City area)?

I've found plenty of bikes on craigslist and on ebay but haven't found anything that is exactly what I want (a nearly new mid-range hybrid - unsure on brand- for my wife who stands 5'7'). Any suggestions? I would be open to going to a second-hand store also (just tell me where to go).

1. you can always find goo deals on craigs list or ebay is always an option just look for local sellers
2. I would reconsider and buy new. In most instances used will have its problems and cost more money in the long-run. Hence, why people buy new and there are lot's of nice bikes in the market these days at a great buy. I bought a Forge Bike and applied a 10% ccoupon by googling target.com coupons.
