please check this out new york. what can / should i do.?

im looking for an affordable sublet in nyc but im crashing at my friend's place. craigslist betrayed me therefore if you know anywhere (or anyone) else i can find a sublet, thatd be great. i wanna be 20 minutes from the city and i am staying here till 24th august till my classes starts. herms.. while im here, i really have no idea what am i supposed to do. i have a couple of touristic list like go to broadway show and walk on brooklyn bridge but i have done almost all of them. please suggest to me some un-touristic thing and what can / should i do on weekdays when my frens are at work. thanks in advance! ps: im sorry but i have been living in the city for over a year now. yesterday had wine while picnic at the columbus circle and next week going to pvd concert at central park, saw broadway shows, went to MoMA, museum of natural history, museum of sex and metropolitan museum. going to brooklyn museum and walk the brooklyn bridge tommorow. please let me know something more un-touristic please. thank you.

1. Sorry, no help on the sublet but there is a ton of things to do in the city. What you think may be touristy is really educational. You have to see the Museum of Natural History. The Met. There are so many Art Galleries. Washington Park, Little Italy, China Town. Picnic in Central Park or free concerts in the park. Go on line to see the up coming events.
