Looking for English Language Expat info in Tokyo, Japan?

I recently relocated to Tokyo, Japan from New York city and I have been trying to find English language web resources similar to what I used on a regular basis in New York. I often used craigslist to find activities and for online dating in New York and haven't been able to find a similar English language site with a large user base in Tokyo. I've found sites but they have very small user bases. What I am looking for is where on the web I can connect with the English speaking expat community to meet people, find dates, find a sports team/league similar to www.zogsports.com, find a running group similar to New York Road Runners http://www.nyrrc.org/ and where I can find classified ads for things like buying a used bicycle.

It is easy to make new friends, especially in Tokyo. Just be open. There is a big foriegner scene in Shibuya, Shinjuku and Roppongi. They have a reputaiton for having a foriegner crowd.

Because English is neither public nor mutual language in Japan.not even second language. There are tons of convinient information and web system in Japan. However, most of them are in Japanese. You have to remember, Japan is mono culuture, homogeneous country. It is not about racism, Japan is different country from others. More than 98% of population is Japanese or Japan nationality holder.
