From Orange County?

How do you find a decent place to live here? I can pay <1400. Prefer a 2 bedroom or a 1 bedroom + office or garage. (My mother passed away and I have many of her items and I need to get them out of storage.) I've tried craigslist, newspaper and driving around. PS I would prefer a "non gated" complex in Anaheim, Orange or Fullerton. (My fiance works in Fullerton.) Thanks No roommates.
