- listen you can take a car battery a get $6.00-$8.00 per battery at your local scrap yard. if you need any more advice email me at donald236@yahoo.com Ive been in this business for about 7 years now
- no kidding they could be using them to make meth. i heard thats the new thing, because you have to sign some papers whenever you buy a new one. they dont want to look suspicious when the buy 5 at the nearest wal mart
- hmm i don't know but people often want catalytic converters for the palladium inside the honeycomb (metal scrappers)
- I HAVE BEEN USING THEM TO POWER MY SECRET UNDERGROUND LAB OOOPS NOT SO SECRET ANY MORE. :( Im building a spaceship for my monkey
- There worth money in scrap because of all the lead inside of them. Lead is a precious metal. Used lead wheel weights are worth money too. Not one or two but a 5 gallon bucket full is worth alot. I Never dealt with batteries but a used catalytic converter is worth 30 to 100 bucks alone here in the Midwest because of all the precious metals in them.(Peladium, Platinum etc.) Aluminum radiators about 2 bucks. Older Copper radiators are 4 to 6 bucks. Entire cars are worth about 150 bucks in scrap metal alone. Get 2 cars per day, yank the cats. off and turn them in separately yields 400 to 500 bucks a day just picking up someones junk car's!!!! It's big business. Eventually it all gets recycled. The lead go's to new batteries. The steel go's to new car's and the cat's go to new cats. Aluminum soda cans are the least weight to money ratio I can think of.
- There's plenty of money to be made in the scrap, junk business!!! aluminum cans, car batteries, old tires, scrap metal, copper, cardboard,etc.....i
