Does anyone know where to find auditions for student films apart from craiglist?
I am unable to travel to universities in my area (Sacramento) I`ve tried Craigslist and they have a few good ones, but i was hoping to find more.

- um, i think it's called nextcat.com ...google it i may be wrong...that and exploretalent has a pretty wide database... but after the seven days trial u gotta pay (30 for a month, 70 for three, etc)... u could also try background work (extras) at centralcasting.com, they don't charge,it gets good experience too
- I think you can try these; Kitzmiller Audition Alley, Kitzmiller, MD 21538, 101 Braddock Rd Frostburg, MD 21532, 110 Greene St Cumberland, MD 21502
- check out this site: Http://www.castingaudition.com
- DONT GO TO CASTTING AUDITION .com he doesnt know wht he is talking about!!! THT SITE IS A SCAM. who will use you & your information. also, it is after your money. when i was an ameatur, i useed to think tht too. im much "smarter " now. u cant use internet to help u get proffesional work. thts wht agents are for
- Ive always used www.mandy.com and www.Actorsaccess.com.
- First of all don't listen to "WHY SO SERIOUS ?" You can indeed use the internet to get professional acting work. I have been using two different sites for a couple of years now and have gotten work from both of them several times. Here are two sites: Actorsaccess.com gives you a page where you post your resume and head shots and give you casting notices for all over the country. It does cost $2.00 each time you submit your information to a project. That's $2.00 per submission just to clarify. Then there's Extrasaccess.com which is run by the same people as Actorsaccess.com and is only for background roles. If you belong to Actorsaccess.com there is no cost to submit for projects through Extrasaccess.com otherwise it costs $2.00 per submission. Also, just to let you know even agents use the internet to get their clients work. The agencies that I use have websites that they use to submit me for projects. Break a leg!
