- 1. yes and no..Looks ok..but you need to haggle. 2. I wouldn't pay more than 4,000 for that because more fuel efficient cars are slowly getting into the market
- 1. probably not 2. $2k tops
- doesn't say what the asking price is... but i wouldn't pay more than like 3500 for it
- no way first of its a salvage title so i would avoid that. u could get something better for the price thats not salvage
- Most I would pay for that is $4000.00... but who knows, I haven't seen the inside or have no idea how good it drives, I wouldn't buy it for more than $4000.00.
- No, and no I would not buy a car with a salvage title.
- no the price should be between $1400-$2200 i really would advise you not to buy it
- before you buy it i would suggest that you get a mechanic inspect it... if the car has a salvage title then you need to make sure that the repairs have been carried out safely - the last thing you want is to pay a fortune on a car that is gonna crumble in a car accident. definitely not to pay the full whack... after all it has been declared a right-off so you should definitely be in line for a price reduction. if you like it and its safe and cheaper, then go for it! just make sure you do your homework before being left with a heap of rubbish.
- yes buy it just because it has a salvage title dont mean it's junk. i would not go higher then 3500
- Salvage title means only one thing. Check the car out and see how it was repaired. If you can't find any hints of a repair then it was done properly. If you see things like crooked joints, bad paint, strange alignment then yeah its a pos. Don't be scared off completely by salvage titles. I have seen salvage title cars that look perfect, and cars with clean titles that were completely destroyed go through bone yards. The salvage title brand has very little to do with the extent of the damage and very much to do with politics of the insurance company and the loudness of the owners voice.
- Realitycheck is dead nuts on. Take it to someone who will give you an honest unbiased look at the car, and check tire wear, etc. If car checks out OK, it is probably worth 3500-3800. Around here, salvage cars that have been fixed correctly sell for 60-70 % of a clean titled vehicle!
- I am selling a 2000 Honda Accord 5-speed salvaged for $3000. The price of $5,800 is too high for a 9 year old car.
