Monster Jobs?
I am in the middle of uploading my CV - am I wasting my time? Has anyone got a decent job from there?

- i was wondering the same, but I thinkg judging from the companies that post there, should be ok. I even saw government insiitution's ads.
- I havent.
- Monster is the UK's leading job website, and many people are recruited every day through Monster. Uploading your CV makes it available to recruitment agencies who can do keyword searches to look for specific skills. How successful you are depends on the content of your CV. Direct employers do not usually use such services, so you should also find jobs on Monster to apply to directly. There are also other leading jobsites you should use, such as: www.totaljobs.com www.jobsite.co.uk
- wow how strange lol i posted my CV onto there 1 day ago. and ive had 3 replies
- i just tend to search on there and have had some good finds, but i haven't tried the CV thing on there
- I did and i've just managed to get a marvellous job with a company that approached me directly. I think that it depends on what your CV is like if it is a strong CV it'll get looked at and responded to. If it is a bit weak ie no real qualifications or experience you'll find it hard. Think that the best think to do is to give your monster CV a decent self explanatory title - it is this that they search and may potentially lead to them looking at your CV
